Favorite Aromatherapy Blends - Create Magic

A Favorite Aromatherapy Blend - For Bath and Body

The most fun of being an Aromatherapist is using the essential oils for blending special lotions and potions. Blending oils together is a creative, intuitive process and involves a personal choice as well as scientific knowledge. Essential oils have characteristics and properties that make them either rejuvenating or relaxing. I have found the best blends follow these guidelines, but I mainly follow my nose and intuition. Some drops of this oil and a few drops of that oil are an experiment and pleasure. Before blending oils, know the intention behind the concoction. Is it for a massage oil to relax, bath salts, lotions that smell pretty, a spicy mixture in a diffuser or clarifying the energy in a space?  You cannot create something unless you know what you want. When the oils are blended and ready to be mixed with a carrier oil or salts, sit quietly and ask if the process is complete.  Intuition knows best. Make blending essential oils a journey through nature. It’s fragrant good scents!

Aromatherapy Favorite Blends Here are some of my favorite aromatherapy blends and you are welcome to try them for yourself. Know that not all drops of essential oils are equal. Some drops are bigger than others are and your magical blend will be a unique creation, even if you follow the recipes exactly. Use carrier oils such as sweet almond or walnut oil and unscented lotions and bath gels. You can find them online using the SEARCH box above.
